DTMF Based Home Automation

Smart homes have become a major trend in recent days. Users control their household appliances even without their presence physically at home. This project is aimed at creating a automated home where in user will have the access over appliances in house with the help of DTMF based communication. Users have various options like controlling the switch boards, electric fans, lights, security system (authentication of users) and automated solar panels.

In this project we built an automated home based on DTMF and Arduino. Users of this system have to make a call to master phone and authenticate themselves. After this they can use various features like controlling of power supply to switch boards or individual switches, automated solar panel and locking the entire system.
